Professional Development

Our chapter holds professional development events where members and students have the opportunity to hear from speakers on a series of topics (i.e. interview tips, negotiation tactics) and network with other SHPE members. These events are meant to bring our members together and enhance their professional skills.

Hispanic Development Fund Cambio Para Cambio Scholarship Campaign

Uplifting the next generation!

Every year, our chapter joins the Hispanic Development Fund’s (HDF) Cambio Para Cambio (Change for Change) Campaign raising funds to create scholarships for Kansas City area students pursuing careers in STEM fields. We can all play an active role in supporting good in the world and make a difference together!
